I'll go 1st for a change. An X-wing and an XY-wing is one method.
Or how about an M-wing (in 17s)?

Victor, I followed your example: an x-wing on <6> and an xy-wing on <147> that deleted <1> from r46c5. Razz

same solution here. I opened a new thread because I didn't see one for today (May 3) and only now realized you guys had already started. Better change the subject to May 3 so I can delete the other thread ...

this is my position along my path, and where I found the marked x-wing on 6.
that x-wing opens up some naked pairs, etc...
which opened up the xy-wing as mentioned on {1,4,7} in boxes 2 and 8. but my xy-wing eliminated a 1 in r8c4

We have two threads for the same puzzle due to accidental postings, so this one is now locked and additional comments can be made in the other one. Thank you.
