I definitely worked hard on this puzzle; just couldn't find a move that provided major damage.

skyscraper (9)r17c5; r2c8, r8c7<>9
xy-wing (68-9)b9q48+r8c3; r9c2<>9
(9)r2c4=(9)r9c4-(9=8=7)r9c86-(7=6)r2c6; r2c4<>6
Type 1 UR(47)r23c48; r2c4=9

Another puzzle that seems to have a "tight" sequence of steps. Sorry!

Danny, you have absolutely nothing to be sorry about; everything within the classification is fair game Exclamation

Besides, I firmly believe that we do not want to find ourselves in the same situation as the Daily Sudoku VH puzzles where all are solved with a xy-wing. Variety is the spice of life....

A very enjoyable puzzle with a satisfying solution, even if I needed one more step than Ted.

XY-Loop from r2c6 to r7c6; r8c6<>7, r9c4<>8, r7c5<>3, r4c6<>6
Type 1 UR (47); r2c4<>47
W-Wing (69), SL 6 in c6; r2c5, r89c4<>9
XY-Wing (689); r9c2<>9
