I didn't see Marty's but stumbled onto a one stepper:
xyz(29-1) p:r8c7 r1c9<>1

Yes that's the one (29-1 xy-wing) I saw, then I noticed that the key elimination
that follows (r2c9<>6) is also produced by a 16-2 xyz-wing pivot r1c9.
(I always give thanks for these small matters of interest in the puzzles!)

Which is more difficult, the puzzles or the terminology? I'm going to use xyz when there 3 evaluations and xy with 2 from now on. Shocked Very Happy

The value of "Z" is 2, the number common to all three cells. In order for there to be a direct elimination, there would have to be a 2 in either r2c9 or r3c9.
