There is also an XY-wing 26-8 in C46 that does not solve the puzzle.

Yes,

George Woods, who is still a frequent contributor here, posted some solutions. I took the trouble to write the method down, and called it a W-wing in George's honor.

And, similarly for an M-wing. It is the simplest case of Medusa Coloring, and also happens to be the first letter of my last name.
