If I go to the home page and come to the forum by clicking "Discussion" on the home page, I have to log in. If I use my bookmark to come directly to the forum, the site recognizes me.  |

Marty,
There is some kind of glitch related to being an administrator. I find that if you log in as an administrator, it does not remember your automatic log in as a regular. It also does not remember messages you have read.
