almost thought this one could be solved with just basic moves.

Just before the end - therefore very easy actually - two ways to go:xy wing or UR.

Both sove the puzzle immediately.

Only few cells left - can't miss the UR, xy wing a little harder to see.

not very hard IMHO. |

				| Yes, fairly easy today. I didn't see any other options other than the Ur and xy wing either. |

				| Like nataraj mentioned, not so VH, the UR was very obvious to spot. |

				| OK... for the UR-challenged, which cells contain the UR? |

To avoid the deadly [45] pattern in R68C45, R6C5 must be <6>. |

				| I did find a naked 4 in Box 9 - which I thought was kind of rare. Then it was just the UR on 45s already mentioned. Didn't see the need for the xy wing. |

In your posted grid, 1s in r6c2 and r6c9 connect the 16 pairs. |

... and the '17's in c6 connect them, too.

seems all I was looking at were the '13' pairs

clearly I must have had a very bad day yesterday.

Thanks, Marty! |
