NEw player here.
I'm finding the very hard puzzles much quicker then the hard puzzles.
Is there somthing i'm missing in the hard puzzles. Any tips would be great

I think everyone probably experiences quite a variation in completion time for the same level of difficulty. I think it probably depends on your approach. I too have sailed through some very hards and taken ages on mere hards.

I don't like to fill in all the possible numbers, rather only mark in small when there are either only two possibilities in a box, or two possibilities in a square. This method tends to make hidden pairs show up more easily, but means I will take longer to spot triplets.

I too find the Very hard easier than the Hard, must be the way our minds work. I know that as a left hander I do view the world slightly differently to other people. It would be interesting to know if left/right handers use different methods and find different ratings to these puzzles.
