1. w-wing {6,9} in r45 got rid of some "9"s, and then
2. xy-chain -46-61-13-34- removed 4 from r6c5, 65c9

How about:
Code:
*-----------------------------------------------------------*
 | 8     1237  4     | 129   1379  279   | 5     6     13    |
 | 9     123   6     | 125   1345  24    | 7     13    8     |
 | 5     137   37    | 6     137   8     | 4     9     2     |
 |-------------------+-------------------+-------------------|
 | 16    4     789   | 3     69    5     | 689   2     17&   |
 | 6-1   3579* 3579* | 29    8     2469  | 69    13&   1347& |
 | 2     39    389   | 7     469   1     | 689   5     34    |
 |-------------------+-------------------+-------------------|
 | 7     59*   59*   | 4     2     3     | 1     8     6     |
 | 3     68    1     | 58    567   67    | 2     4     9     |
 | 4     68    2     | 189   169   69    | 3     7     5     |
 *-----------------------------------------------------------*

where we note the potential deadly pattern in r57c23<59> that gives the strong inference (3=7)r5c23 and hence:
(1)r5c89 = (3)r5c8 - (3=7)r5c23 - (7)r5c9 = (7-1)r4c9 = (1)r5c89, => r5c89=1 => r5c1 <> 9, solving the puzzle.

Hi re'born,

let me be reborn this one time on this forum Wink

For those, who (like me) dont understand the notation:

r4c9=1 => (r5c8 = 3 and r5c9 = 7) => contradiction because of the deadly 59 pattern.

Well, as long as we're playing with Deadly Patterns, here's something interesting:
Code:
*------------------------------------------------------------*
| 8     1237   4     | 129   1379  279   | 5     6     13    |
| 9     123    6     | 125   1345  24    | 7     13    8     |
| 5     137    37    | 6     137   8     | 4     9     2     |
|--------------------+-------------------+-------------------|
| 16    4     @789   | 3     69    5     |@689   2     17    |
| 61    357-9* 357-9*| 29    8     2469  |p69    13    1347  |
| 2    p39    @389   | 7     469   1     |@68-9  5     34    |
|--------------------+-------------------+-------------------|
| 7     59*    59*   | 4     2     3     | 1     8     6     |
| 3     68     1     | 58    567   67    | 2     4     9     |
| 4     68     2     | 189   169   69    | 3     7     5     |
*------------------------------------------------------------*

We already know about the {37} strong inference in R5C23. Now, either R5C7 is <9> or it is <6>. If <6>, then we have a potential {89} UR, marked @, that creates a second {37} strong inference in Box 4. Together, these act as a {37} Locked Set making R6C2 <9>. So, one or both of R5C7 and R6C2 is <9>, eliminating <9>s as shown.
