Often after submitting a post you will see one or more smileys that you didn't insert. For example, the "Cool" smiley is formed by an 8 followed by a ). To get rid of these, click "Edit" at the upper right of your message and do one of two things.

1) If you want to get rid of all smileys, just click the box beneath the message box next to, "Disable Smilies in this post."

2) If you have smileys that you want to keep, get rid of the unwanted smiley(s) by inserting a space between the offending characters, such as (28 ).
