For me it was two xy-wings:the first was a 159 wing with pivot at r8c8 eliminating 1s at r4c9 and r6c9, followed by a 579 wing with pivot at r1c5 eliminating 7 at r8c2.

Mindwarp,

Are you referring to an XYZ-Wing? This is where I wind up after basics and I don't see an XYZ-Wing pivoted in r1c3.

Code:

+-----------+--------------+-------------+
| 2 57  357 | 4  579  1    | 8   39  6   |
| 8 9   1   | 3  6    2    | 7   4   5   |
| 6 4   357 | 89 5789 78   | 12  139 129 |
+-----------+--------------+-------------+
| 5 13  8   | 2  34   9    | 6   7   14  |
| 7 2   4   | 6  1    5    | 9   8   3   |
| 9 13  6   | 7  348  38   | 125 15  124 |
+-----------+--------------+-------------+
| 4 567 57  | 89 3789 3678 | 15  2   19  |
| 3 567 2   | 1  79   67   | 4   59  8   |
