W-Wing 47 in BOX 69 with SL 7 in col 9; r9c8<>4 solves it.

ANP(47=6)r8c79-(6=8)r1c9-r1c1=r9c1-(8=4)r9c5 => -4r8c5,r9c8

Same W-Wing on 47.

It seems that with the BUG-Lite on 47 in boxes 369, all roads lead to r2c9=4, but that doesn't do the job.

A chain whereby r9c8=4-->r5c1=2; r9c1<>2 is enough.

Marty, I don't see a BUG-Lite on 47. I do see a Type 1 UR(25)r37c46 that doesn't do the job and we had a BUG-Lite+3 yesterday on 47 in boxes 369. Is your BUG-Lite some combination? Very Happy Confused Wink

Did I use some misnomenclature? The 47 cells in r3c78, r5c89 and r8c79. If not a BUG-Lite I'm pretty sure it's some kind of potential DP.

Go Tigers! Almost snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. The Yankees seem pretty flat.

Anyway, after basics and a 25-8 UR:
Code:
+----------------+----------------+----------------+
| 58   3    9    | 7    1    4    | 2    56   68   |
| 7    58   24   | 6    9    25   | 3    1    48   |
| 1    6    24   | 25   3    8    | 47  A457  9    |
+----------------+----------------+----------------+
| 4    7    1    | 8    2    3    | 6    9    5    |
| 25   25   3    | 1    6    9    | 8    47   47   |
| 6    9    8    | 4    5    7    | 1    3    2    |
+----------------+----------------+----------------+
| 3    4    6    | 25   7    25   | 9    8    1    |
| 9    28   5    | 3    48   1    | 47   2467 B467 |
| 28   1    7    | 9    48   6    | 5    24   3    |
+----------------+----------------+----------------+

To kill the 47 DP in R358C789, A=5 or B=6. Either way, R1C9=8.

Marty,

Your post was just fine. I don't know what I was thinking about; my comments are beyond a "senior moment", more like a "mind warp". I wonder if I was looking at a different grid code? Sorry about that. Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed
