I have always been able to solve these very hard puzzles using the rather "standard" simple techniques, but not this one. I have the same numbers as are shown in the grid, however, I do not understand the nomenclature used in the solution. Is there a simpler less complex way to solve it. Maybe I will have to master the nomenclature. Many thanks. Sad

Jeff, I assume you're referring to the XY-Wing that ROAA used. This is a move you really want to learn, as many of these puzzles require that move for solving. Here is an explanation. If it's not clear, don't hesitate to ask further.
