				| I played the XY-Wing 1,2,8 pivoted at r6c5 and -8 in r5c9(=2) as my first step. Rinsed. Then played a UR89w/5 rows 1 and 3; columns 3 and 8 and r3c8=5 to avoid the DP. These steps could have been reversed with equal success.
 cheers...immp

 Interesting. 2 fairly obvious XY-wings (12-8 pivot r6c5 and 18-6 pivot r4c6).
Both are needed to leave basics only, but they can be done in either order.
One of them (12-8 ) linked with the obvious 89 UR leaves basics, but the 18-6
and the UR are insufficient. Maybe interesting to us geeks only, but I've not
 seen one like this before......

				| With a quick look to identify some strong links, one could have also found the skyscraper on 8 (after the initial XY- Wing of 12-8). It occurs in columns 2 and 6 (with a buddy shared in row 9); pincers then at r4c6 and r5c2. This makes r4c1-8 =4! and r5c4-8 =1!

I couldn't resist Keith, the bulb burns forever bright; I look for them all the time now. Thanks again...
