I'm not familiar with a "Classic" Remote Pairs. I assume it has something to do with the number of cells involved. I now notice that a four-cell Remote Pairs sets r3c9<>26, so my eight-cell wasn't necessary. |

Based on that definition, wouldn't my eight-cell chain qualify, even though it turned out to unnecessary? All eight cells contain just 26. |
